Al-Marsad Journal: A medical team at a hospital in Mecca was able to extract a toothbrush from the stomach of a twenty-year-old woman laparoscopically without surgery.
According to “Previously”, the woman came to the hospital emergency room after swallowing a toothbrush, during the teeth cleaning process, and she described when she brushed her teeth and cleaned her tongue, and she tried to extract it with her hand from her throat, but by mistake, she pushed it.
And a CT scan was done which proved the presence of a foreign object (a toothbrush) inside the stomach cavity, and the patient was immediately admitted to the operating room as a result of what it looked like in the hospital that when she tried to extract it from her throat, she pushed it into the esophagus and went down into the stomach. The medical team was able to extract it.
