Today (Monday), the Presidency of Meteorology and Environmental Protection issued warnings of thunderstorms in several regions of the Kingdom and moderate to heavy rains in others.

The General Administration of Meteorological Analysis and Forecasts has warned of thunderstorms accompanied by surface wind activity, with decreased horizontal visibility, in a number of cities in Asir regions, Jazan, Al-Jawf, Al-Baha, the northern borders and Tabuk.

She explained that the situation at the northern borders begins at 10 a.m. and continues until 10 p.m., and in Jizan, Asir and Al-Baha from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., while in Al- Jawf, it will be from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., while it will continue in Tabuk until 4 p.m.

She said the holy capital and towns of Taif, Jumum, Al Kamil, Bahrah, Khulais and Maysan in the Makkah Al Mukarramah region are expected to witness moderate to heavy rains and dust raised accompanied by wind activity. surface area and a decrease in the range of vision, noting that the situation begins at noon and continues until 6 p.m.
