Today, Monday, Apple announced it is setting up a new event on November 10, when it is expected to announce new Mac computers.
The US tech giant said: The launch event will begin at 10 a.m. Pacific time (9 p.m. Mecca time), and will be streamed live on Apple’s website.
The tagline on the invitations sent out Monday was “One More Thing,” and the company says: The event will be held at its headquarters (Apple Park).
The company announced earlier this year that it plans to release computers (Macs) with its own chips, which it designed based on the ARM architecture, instead of Intel processors. IPhone smartphones and iPads have long used Apple-designed processors, which the company claims help extend battery life and provide faster performance.
The company could launch a new iMac series device with a new design and laptops using its chips, according to a research note from analyst (Ming-Chi Kuo), released earlier this year.
Over the past month, the company has hosted two events to launch its new products, as it launched at an event last September on its smartwatch (Apple Watch Series 6), Apple Watch Series 6 and (Apple Watch SE) Apple Watch SE, and new versions of IPad, in addition to other services. At the October event, the company announced the new iPhone 12 phones.
Mac hardware sales have been a top priority for Apple during the COVID-19 pandemic. In the quarter ending in June, the company reported sales of $ 9 billion of Mac computers, which were up 28% year-over-year.
