Kuwaiti actress Hayat Al-Fahd has revealed a surprise related to the second installment of the “Umm Haroun” series, whose screening on MBC last Ramadan sparked a sensation and accusations of promoting normalization.
Hayat Al-Fahd announced the postponement of the filming of the second part of the series “Umm Haroun”, entitled “The Peacock Throne”, until the end of the month of Ramadan due to the renewed crisis of the Corona virus and the return of the countries to closure again, especially since this work will be shot in one of the European countries.
Al-Fahd said on Instagram: “The work has been replaced by another social, dramatic and comic work. It will be announced two days later on our Al-Fahd Foundation for Artistic Production page. Almighty God, the next work for the holy month of Ramadan is a nice surprise to the public. We will announce it soon with the director. Basil Al-Khatib.
The “Umm Haroun” series aroused widespread anger among Palestinians in particular and Arabs in general, as it clearly promoted normalization with the occupation.
Palestinian factions and figures denounced the content of the “Umm Haroun” series for containing insults to the Palestinian people, and called for normalization with Israel.
Speakers unanimously agreed in separate statements that these actions do not reflect the Arab peoples, but rather the policies of the ruling regimes that have abandoned their principles and constants.
