Arsenal coach Michael Arteta has raised the possibility of a renewal for Mohamed El-Niny, the team’s Egyptian midfielder.
Arteta responded to a question about the possibility of renewing Nani by saying, “Let’s take things step by step, please and don’t anticipate events.”
“What I can say is that I am happy with Al Nani’s performance and what he offers, and I hope he will continue to do so throughout the season.”
Arteta, “I think he’s responded well to every challenge we’ve thrown at him, and he’s proven what he can do since coming back from loan.”
“Now everyone knows what Nani has to offer so I’m happy with what he has to offer the team,” he said.
Mohamed Al-Nani returned to Arsenal this season after a season spent on loan with Besiktas.
Al Nani has appeared in 9 games so far at various tournaments this season, and he has reserved a place in the starting lineup in many matches.
The 28-year-old expires his contract with Arsenal at the end of the current season.
Arsenal are preparing to face Molde tonight, Thursday, in the third round matches of the European League group stage.
