Apple Has Problems Fulfilling iPhone 12 Pro Orders

Apple is struggling to produce new units of its latest iPhone 12, especially the iPhone 12 Pro; Due to trade restrictions and the slowdown in manufacturing due to the coronavirus outbreak, it is therefore difficult for them to meet growing demand.

And Bloomberg News reported that Apple’s suffering comes despite having numerous suppliers to manufacture its units, but it was surprised by the high levels of demand for the two most expensive models that went on sale last month.

And the news agency reported that one of the reasons for the slowdown in production and longer delivery times is due to the lack of one or two specific components in the Pro phone models, so that Apple has decided to transfer some components for the iPad Pro (mainly chip and led), to the iPhone 12 Pro.

Bloomberg said that one of the reasons for Apple’s problems is related to the sanctions imposed on Huawei, as the United States tries to prevent the Chinese company from accessing these components, forcing Chinese tech giant Huawei to to accumulate and save a huge market stock which is sufficient to meet and operate its production lines for some time.

Also according to Nikkei Asia, Apple, owner of the bitten apple logo, has shown its willingness to sacrifice the production of two million iPads; In order to provide new components for the iPhone production lines as a top priority to keep pace with demand.

The increase in demand is not just linked to the iPhone 12, as Apple has asked its suppliers to cover the production of 20 million units, including iPhone 11, iPhone SE and iPhone XR, by the holidays and the start of 2021.

This represents almost a quarter of the volume of orders for iPhone 12 and 12 Pro (between 75 and 80 million units were produced).
