Danish authorities have confirmed the discovery of infections with the new strain of Corona linked to mink breeding facilities in the north of the country.
And local media reported that more than 200 cases of the new strain transmitted to humans have been diagnosed in these animals.
And the government of Denmark has decided to slaughter all mink raised in the country (that’s about 15 to 17 million animals), despite indications from health experts that the magnitude of the danger from the new mutation of the virus is not yet clear.
