Apple fixed three operating system vulnerabilities: iOS, iPadOS, macOS, and watchOS which were actively exploited and affected by devices: iPhone, iPad, and iPod.
The flaws reside in the FontParser component and the kernel, allowing attackers to remotely execute arbitrary code and execute malware with kernel-level privileges.
In a security advisory report describing the three flaws, the company said: Apple is aware of reports of exploitation of this issue, without giving further details to allow the vast majority of users to install updates.
The list of affected devices includes iPhone 5s and later, iPod touch 6th and 7th generation, iPad Air 2 and later, iPad mini 2 and later, and Apple Watch Series 1 and later versions.
