Al-Miqdad added: “We are against the occupation by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) militia of certain buildings of government institutions in the northeast of the country,” adding: “We are against these practices which will negatively affect these militias. “

Al-Miqdad said: “Syria welcomes the Mauritanian position, which has always been on the side of the Syrian people despite all the pressure to which all Arab countries have been subjected,” adding: “We know the pressures that have been exerted on Mauritania so that it withdraws its ambassador and does not support Syria in this battle “. And because of the lack of coordination with it within the councils of Arab organizations and the United Nations, but the mere presence of the Mauritanian ambassador in Syria indicates that relations between the two brotherly countries have continued on the same momentum.
