The Egyptian Football Association announced that a second swab had been taken to detect a Corona virus infection for star Mohamed Salah, the national team player and English club Liverpool, and the result showed a positive case of infection of the big star by the Corona virus.
And with the appearance of the second smear result, the absence of Mohamed Salah in the confrontation of the Egyptian team with Togo, during the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations “Cameroon 2022” was confirmed.
According to the Liverpool club’s official website, rules for Corona State in England state that anyone who tests positive must self-isolate for 10 days from being tested if they do not have symptoms.
However, it may take longer if Salah is showing symptoms, as the government has also stressed that people should self-isolate for an additional 10 days if symptoms appear during their period of isolation.
People are allowed to stop self-isolating after 10 days if they have only a cough or no symptoms.
However, they should continue to self-isolate after these 10 days if other symptoms such as overheating are present.
For Salah, that means another positive test would rule him out permanently from Liverpool’s next game against Leicester City on November 21.
Then the Reds will face Atalanta on November 25 before traveling to Brighton on November 28, if Salah does not show any symptoms he will be ready to play in those games.
