State Minister for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir criticized Germany’s decision to ban arms exports to the Kingdom, calling it an “error” and “illogical.”
Al-Jubeir confirmed, in an interview with the German news agency DPA, that the Kingdom does not need German military equipment, stressing that the idea of stopping arms sales to the Kingdom because of of the war in Yemen is illogical.
He said the Kingdom has options to buy from several other countries, and is already doing so, stressing that the war in Yemen is legitimate. And that the kingdom was forced to fight him.
