The Saudi Organization for Standardization, Metrology and Quality has revealed cars that are banned from importing into the Kingdom.
She explained that the prohibited cars are used for safety and taxi fare purposes, and the steering wheel is changed from right to left, which has already been subjected to collisions, drownings, fires or rollovers.
She added that the ban includes cars that do not meet fuel economy standards and that are marked “Salvage”, which have sustained significant damage and scrap.
