Saudi Arabia’s health ministry has said that there are cases in which it is advisable to postpone taking the flu vaccine, until the person’s condition stabilizes.
The ministry’s “Health 937” account – via Twitter – said that “it is advisable to temporarily postpone the flu shot, in case of acute infection or any illness accompanied by severe or moderate temperature.”
And the health ministry added that it is possible to receive the seasonal flu vaccine once health has stabilized.
She said the seasonal flu vaccine was provided in all health care centers.
