Samsung Heavy Industries said on Monday it has reached a $ 2.5 billion deal with a European company to supply ship hulls and other equipment.
The company said in a report that the deal is the largest ever and will end in December 2025.
Samsung Heavy Industries has so far struck deals worth $ 3.8 billion, hitting 45% of its target for this year.
With this agreement, the cumulative value of the company’s secured orders increases to $ 21.1 billion.
“Samsung” said there is a high likelihood of receiving additional orders for LNG projects in Mozambique and Qatar.
