The Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Health for Public Health Affairs, Dr Hani Joukhadar, revealed some details about the arrival of the new vaccine against the Corona virus in the Kingdom.
He said during his interview with “The Fourth Newsletter” on “Al Arabiya” channel, that the vaccine has not yet arrived in the Kingdom, confirming that it will be received in the coming days.
He said the reception of the vaccine will be in three phases, starting from the current period, which also includes the first trimester of next year, followed by the second and third trimesters.
He stressed that the amount of vaccine will include all residents of the Kingdom, stressing that the priority is to groups most vulnerable to infection with the virus, in addition to the elderly and those with chronic diseases.
He indicated that the vaccination campaign will take place according to stages and target groups, after the registration of the Pfizer vaccine in the Kingdom by the Food and Drug Authority.
