Today (Sunday), the General Department of Traffic revealed the start of automatic surveillance for non-compliance with specified routes on roads in 5 new regions of the Kingdom.
She explained that the automatic monitoring of the violation will start after 7 days, in the areas of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Medina, Asir, the northern borders and the governorate of Qurayyat.
It is noteworthy that the “Traffic” application started to apply automatic monitoring for non-compliance with lane limits in Riyadh, Dammam and Jeddah in the first district, then Jizan, Taif, Al-Baha and Al-Jawf.
The director general of the traffic department, Major General Muhammad Al-Bassami, had spoken of the widespread use of automatic violation surveillance in various cities of the Kingdom, by the middle of next year 2021. .
