Health Minister Dr Tawfiq Al-Rabiah said the launch of the coronavirus vaccination campaign today is the start of relief from the crisis, expressing his thanks to the guardian of the two holy mosques and the crown prince for their concern for the health of citizens and residents.
Al-Rabiah explained that the initiation of the vaccination process was carried out with direct and close monitoring by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
Al-Rabiah confirmed that the vaccine is safe and that vaccination centers will be opened in all parts of the Kingdom, stressing that taking the vaccine is optional, saying the ministry is keen to provide doses for all.
He added: “Over the past nine months I have watched with concern the number of injuries, and from today I will be happy to track the number of vaccinations.”
He said the vaccination campaign will continue for several months, and the ministry is keen to complete each phase of vaccination as quickly as possible, calling on citizens and residents to register quickly in the “My Health” app.
Today, Thursday, the Kingdom launched the vaccination campaign with the vaccine “Pfizer-Biontec” against the Corona virus, while the Minister of Health, first citizen, citizen and resident received the first dose of the vaccine.
