For his part, Dr Hala Mansour, professor of sociology in Egypt, said general indicators speak of declining rates of violence at family and street level.
In her interview with “Sputnik”, she added that staying at home for long periods of time creates a state of familiarity and bonding, and reduces the pressures to which the family is exposed on the streets and at work, and thus increases the tensions. , which reflected the drop in crime rates.
Mansour believes that the decline of life’s conflict processes in all patterns has led to a decrease in tensions and quarrels which ultimately lead to the commission of crimes.
