South Korean company Samsung plans to make fifth-generation smartphones more affordable and available to many users.
The company had launched the Galaxy A51 5G, Galaxy A71 5G, and Galaxy A42 5G phones, and plans to launch Galaxy A32 5G and Galaxy A22 5G next year.
A new report has revealed that Samsung plans to launch the Galaxy A22 5G in India and other Southeast Asian countries in the second half of 2021.
The price of the phone is expected to be around $ 180, which means it will be the cheapest.
The Galaxy A22 5G is expected to use the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, which includes a built-in 5G modem.
The phone competes with affordable smartphones powered by fifth-generation technology from companies like Oppo, Realme, Vivo, and Xiaomi.
Previous reports indicated that Samsung will launch at least eight Galaxy A series smartphones in 2021, and according to the report, 20% to 30% of Samsung smartphones will be made using the JDM co-production method, which means development will be outsourced. The products, design and production tasks are from a different brand, and Samsung will be partially involved in the process.
