British media reported on Wednesday that Stella Tennant, one of Britain’s most famous models, has died aged 50.
“It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Stella Tennant on December 22, 2020,” her family said in a statement to the Press Association.
Tennant was born into the Scottish aristocracy, and her funky, masculine and feminine features helped her break into the fashion world in the 1990s.
And her star became the new face of Chanel and her image made the cover of fashion magazines around the world.
