Today, Sunday, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, Dr Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali revealed the extent of the impact of the Corona virus mutation on the effectiveness of the already existing vaccine.
He told the Corona developments press conference that the mutation has yet to be proven to affect the severity of the disease or the effectiveness of the vaccine, and he also confirmed that its effect on children has not been proven.
He explained that there are many organs and centers that are constantly monitoring the developments of the Coronavirus mutation around the world and taking appropriate action on it.
Al-Abd al-Aali highlighted the high turnout for registrations to receive the vaccine, pointing out that at this point, the total number of registrations has reached 700,000 people from priority groups.
