Today, Sunday, the Interior Ministry implemented a conviction against Osama Faysal Najim, an Iraqi national, after 3 years of his involvement in the murder of two officials of the Kingdom’s private schools in north of Riyadh.
The culprit, who was arrested in mid-June 2017, attacked the school, where he shot dead the director of operations and maintenance, citizen Abdulaziz Al-Otaibi, and the Palestinian high school agent, Muhammad Ismail. Al-Dawi, which resulted in their deaths and injured an Asian worker.
The school administration explained that the assailant was one of its employees, and he was fired 4 years before committing the murder, and he was fired from his services due to his personality imbalance.
The murderer was brought before the specialized criminal court, where he decided to kill the accused as a punishment without waiting for the minors of the deceased parents to reach, after being arrested in a mosque in the Granada district of Riyadh and in possession of murder weapon, and the death sentence against him was upheld by the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court.
