The director general of prisons, Major General Muhammad bin Ali Al-Asmari, died today, Monday, after a heart attack in his office.

Trade and Information Minister Majid Al-Qasabi mourned the Director General of Prisons, Major General Muhammad bin Ali Al-Asmari.

Al-Qasabi pointed out that Al-Asmari was one of the sincere men in the service of the Fatherland, as he was always one of the initiators of good and tenderness, asking God to cover him with the expanse of his mercy and to remain in his space.

Al-Asmari is reported to have held many positions, including director of recruitment for investigations in Eastern Province, director of the mabahith prison in Al-Hayer, head of the unified task force. of the mabahith prisons, in addition to the director of the mabahith prison in Jeddah before being appointed director general of prisons.
