The series “Halal Victims” raises controversy on Twitter after the presentation of “Misyar marriage between a child and a woman” on the Shahid platform

Al-Marsad Journal: Bold scenes showing the ‘Halal Victims’ series sparked widespread controversy on Twitter communication platforms, as an adult woman appeared who had married a teenage boy in a misyar marriage manner.

The activists rejected, on social networking sites, these scenes which were broadcast on the “watch VIP” platform, and launched the hashtag “Halal Victims Series”, and another called “Halal Victims”, calling for a stop from the Serie.

Activists said the series hurt children because it portrays a child with a woman and also conveys a negative image of society, while others saw the series touch on a thorny issue, arguing that she was breaking the rules of the drama, because it showed sexual connotations between the woman who married a child.
