English club Manchester City have announced the postponement of their match against Everton, which was to take place on Monday evening at “Goodison Park”, home of Tovis, as part of the 16th round of English Premier League matches.
The text of the official statement released by the club a few hours ago said the decision was made in consultation with the responsible authorities, the English Premier League and both clubs.
“Once the virus penetrates our isolation, there is a risk that it will spread to the rest of the squad and their staff,” Man City wrote in their statement.
He added: “After the medical opinion we obtained, we consulted the English Premier League and Everton, and a decision was taken to postpone the meeting.”
