Today (Monday), the control teams of the Ministry of Health managed to seize 489 offenses after visiting 1,136 pharmacies in all regions of the Kingdom.
This comes on the first day of the Pharmacies Watch Campaign, which aims to measure the extent of their commitment not to dispense prescription drugs without a prescription.
The health ministry said the surveillance campaign resulted in the referral of 211 offending pharmacists to the appropriate authorities, with a view to taking legal action against them.
