Al-Marsad Journal: Actor Abdullah Al-Sadhan denounced some of the daring scenes that are shown to Al-Jadida, through a tweet he wrote on his Twitter account.
Abdullah Al-Sadhan posted a video clip for the ‘Halal Victims’ series and one writer commented, “I have spoken a lot and written a lot that there are those who seek to westernize the local Saudi drama under the name of a daring Saudi act! This section is said to be from a local Saudi work.
And Al-Sadhan continued, “Your pupil, Lord, may at the time of his presentation, my mother and our buildings will sleep.”
And the daring scenes from the “Halal Victims” series sparked widespread controversy on Twitter communication platforms, as an adult woman emerged who had married a teenager in the manner of a Misyar marriage.
The activists rejected, on social networking sites, these scenes which were broadcast on the “watch VIP” platform, and launched the hashtag “Halal Victims Series”, and another called “Halal Victims”, calling for a stop from the Serie.
