Tesla Corporation announced that it set a record by opening a supercharger station with 72 charging points in Shanghai, China.
The company said this step is part of its policy to disseminate charging stations for electric vehicles, as electric vehicle owners should not have to queue to charge their cars, or search for charging stations.
Last November, Tesla announced that it had installed 20,000 chargers around the world, as part of its policy of creating the infrastructure necessary to use the electric cars it manufactures and develops.
