The Kingdom’s government has decided to end precautionary measures related to the spread of a new mutated type of emerging corona virus (Covid-19) in a number of countries, regarding the suspension of all international flights for travelers and entry into the Kingdom through land and sea ports which began to operate for a week from 05/05/1442 AH corresponding to 20/12/2020, and it was extended for another week ending on 05/19/1442 AH corresponding to 1/3/2021, and that from 11:00 a.m. on Sunday 05/19/1442 AH corresponding to 3/3 1/2021, subject to the following:

1- Entry into the Kingdom will be for non-nationals from the United Kingdom and South Africa, and any other country determined by the Department of Health, in which the new type transferred of the emerging corona virus (B.1.1.7) spreads, subject to the person wishing to spend Entry for a period of at least 14 days outside the country in which the mutated virus (B.1.1.7) spreads before to enter the Kingdom, with a PCR exam after the expiration of this period, proving that it is free from infection with the emerging corona virus (Covid-19).

2- Citizens authorized to enter humanitarian and essential cases from countries where the new mutated type of the corona virus emerges (B.1.1.7) is spreading, according to what was mentioned in paragraph 1 above, to their home under surveillance for a period of 14 days, with two PCR checks, the first no more than 48 hours after arrival, and the second before the end of the quarantine on the 13th.

As for the countries in which cases of the strain (B. 1. 1. 7) have been recorded, those resulting from it are quarantined at home under surveillance for a period of 7 days, with a PCR examination, before the end. from the quarantine period on the sixth day.

For the rest of the countries, the procedures currently followed will be applied; This is home quarantine for 7 days, or home quarantine for 3 days, with a laboratory examination with PCR technology.
