Jeddah Union: Hijazi continues with us for two years after loan end

Ahmed Kaaki, vice-president of the Saudi Jeddah Club, confirmed his team’s success in maintaining the presence of Egypt’s Ahmed Hegazy, the team’s defender, for a period of two years after the end of his loan term current.

In statements on the Abu Dhabi Sports Channel, Kaaki indicated that Hijazi is one of the main and influential elements of his team, which prompted him to activate the compulsory purchase clause.

The vice president of the federation said: “Hijazi is an important and influential player in the team, and this has been apparent since he arrived to us. We have a compulsory purchase clause in the contract and not the priority , and we decided to activate it. “

He concluded: “I assure the fans of Al-Ittihad, that Hejazi will stay with us for two more years after his current loan period ends.”

It should be noted that Hijazi is currently playing for Al Ittihad in Jeddah on loan from West Bromwich Albion since the start of the current season in Saudi Arabia.
