Completely lifted the suspension of international flights on March 31

An official source at the Saudi Interior Ministry announced on Friday that land, sea and air ports would be fully open and citizens would be allowed to travel outside and return to the Kingdom, starting Wednesday 08/18/1442 AH, corresponding to 03/31/2021 AD.

In details, the source said that in addition to the statement issued on 12/01/2020 AD, which includes the date for lifting restrictions on exiting the Kingdom and allowing ports to open will be announced later, and the published statement corresponding to 1/2/2021 AD containing the precautionary measures and preventive measures applied to those arriving in The Kingdom, and taking into account the continuation of the new Corona pandemic, and that many countries of the world are witnessing from a second wave of this pandemic accompanied by the emergence of new mutated strains of the virus with faster rates of spread, and due to the decrease in new cases of Corona virus emerging in the Kingdom during of the current period, and to ensure the safety and health of citizens and to keep the infection low in the Kingdom, and the importance of completing the arrival of the required quantities of vaccine during the period to veni r and distribute it to regions of the Kingdom to immunize groups most vulnerable to serious complications from infection with the disease. 03/03/2021 AD:

(A) Allow citizens to travel outside and return to the Kingdom.

(B) Completely lift the suspension of international flights.

(C) Fully open land, sea and air ports.

(D) The implementation of the above must be in accordance with the procedures and precautions set by the relevant committee to take all necessary precautionary measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus in the Kingdom in coordination with the authorities concerned.
