Egypt’s Mohamed Salah has broken a knot that has held him in the FA Cup since 2014, after leading Liverpool to victory over Aston Villa in the third round of the competition on Friday.
Salah scored the fourth goal against Aston Villa to help his side win 4-1.
This is the first time that the Egyptian star has won the FA Cup, since his first participation in the competition in 2014.
Salah had lost all the confrontations he had previously fought in the FA Cup, which went as follows:
2014 – Lost with Chelsea, by Manchester City
2018- Lost, with Liverpool, by West Bromwich Albion
2019- Lost with Liverpool against Wolverhampton
2020 – He missed the Liverpool squad that beat Shrewsbury Town, then made the party that lost to Chelsea
2021 – He beats Aston Villa with Liverpool, scoring a goal.
