Liverpool managed to secure a 4-0 victory over rivals Aston Villa in the match between them on Friday in the third round of the FA Cup.
Aston Villa came into the game with the U-23 youth squad after a Corona virus outbreak among first-team players, while 17-year-old Louis Barry managed to score his side’s only goal.
After the game, young Barry requested a shirt swap with Reds star Fabinho, who was well received by the latter, but once the swap process was completed and Fabinho left for the dressing room, a member of the Fellians’ technical staff approached his player and informed him of the need to recover his jersey from the Brazilian star. The shirt represents a special occasion for him after playing his first game at official first-team level, and he also scored his first goal against a big team like Liverpool.
Indeed, the 17-year-old quickly ran down the hallway of the Villa Park stadium to catch up with Fabinho and ask him to take back his shirt and return the Brazilian shirt to him again, but the latter came back and gave him the shirt back, to ultimately win Louis Barry.
