Popular sports site WhoScored ran a poll of football fans to pick the perfect team for 2020, with each participant voting for one player per position (from goalie to forward).
34,000 people took part in the vote and witnessed a big surprise, excluding Juventus striker Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo from the perfect squad which included 11 players, including an Arab player, the Moroccan Ashraf Hakimi, right-back of Inter Milan, who won 55 percent of the participants’ votes to choose the best right-back.
And the perfect line-up for 2020, according to the survey conducted by “WhoScored”, as follows:
To the goalkeepers: Emiliano Martinez (Aston Villa) from Argentina.
In the defense line: Moroccan Ashraf Hakimi (Inter Milan), Frenchman Kurt Zuma (Chelsea), Dutchman Virgil Van Dyck (Liverpool), Frenchman Theo Hernandez (Milan).
In the midfield: Belgian Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City), German Joshua Kimmich (Bayern Munich), Portuguese Bruno Fernandez (Manchester United).
