Razer Games has announced that it has created the world’s “smartest” muzzle because it has a built-in microphone.
According to the original design, which was unveiled at the Consumer Electronics Show, the muzzle amplifies the user’s voice to avoid masking themselves due to wearing the muzzle.
The design includes active ventilation that helps exhale warmer air and breathe cooler air.
The company claims its masks are classified as “N95”, but the BBC has not rated this product.
The muzzle itself is made of clear plastic, making it easy to read lip movements and recognize facial expressions.
Transparent masks are not considered to be an innovation in themselves, as many of them are sold in the market. However, the company claims that the muzzle has a lighting function that allows the inner part to automatically light up when exposed to darkness, making facial features clear.
Razer says this allows “you to speak clearly whatever the lighting conditions.”
But is it comfortable to wear all this technology?
The BBC team did not have access to this technology.
Razer says putting silicone around the face maintains comfort and prevents the muzzle from touching the mouth.
She adds that having two denser rings around the ear puts less pressure on your ears.
We can say that the “voicamp” function is the most technologically advanced aspect of the muzzle.
The company claims that the mouth microphone and subwoofer make your voice clearer.
This is still just an initial product idea and is currently not on sale.
The company told “The Verge,” a tech journalism specialist, that the life of the fans is still being tested, in addition to when the filters need to be changed.
Other companies that revealed their product innovations at the annual CES event include:
- An electric car that can fly in the air
- A toilet that analyzes feces and provides dietary recommendations
