Abha wrote the first defeat for the Jeddah Federation in the presence of defender Ahmed Hegazy today, Thursday, in the 13th round of the competition.
Abha beat host Al-Ittihad at Al-Jawhara Al-Shuaa Stadium, with a Carlos Strandberg goal in the 88th minute of the game.
The meeting saw the direct expulsion of Al-Ittihad, Saud Shaiba, in the 15th minute.
This is Al Ittihad’s second defeat in the current league season, having lost in the first round against the deal with two goals to one.
But in the first loss, Hijazi was not present and missed the game, while competing against Abha.
Hegazy has competed with Al Ittihad in 14 matches in all championships, winning seven times, drawing six times and beating in one game.
Al-Ittihad’s balance was frozen as a result of the loss, at 21 points, and they placed fifth.
Abha comes sixth with 20 points.
