Reuters CLIVE ROSE
UK newspaper “The Times” reported that Welshman Gareth Bale, a Real Madrid player on loan at Tottenham Hotspur, is looking for more minutes on the pitch which is unlikely to happen.
Tottenham signed their former star Bill on a season-long loan last summer, with the possibility of a final deal with him, and so far the 31-year-old Welshman has shown him no compassion with Spurs, in participating in 12 matches and scoring only three goals.
The newspaper pointed out that Bell did not convince England team manager Jose Mourinho of his level, so he did not have the opportunity with Tottenham for the remainder of the season.
A second season at Spurs is not on the cards at the moment, so the next few months will prove to be crucial for Bale’s future. He surely hopes the image of playing against Marine doesn’t end up defining his homecoming, writes @TomRoddy_#THFChttps://t.co/lYWVRaZX23

Following Bale’s failure with Tottenham, the club did not extend the Welsh player’s loan for another season, leaving him with the option of returning to Real Madrid next summer.
The Welshman’s contract with Real Madrid expires in the summer of 2022.
