Jack Ma has just made his public debut months ago as his tech empire continues to face challenges from Chinese regulators.
The billionaire co-founder of “Alibaba” appeared again on Wednesday in a video uploaded by Tianmu News, an affiliate of the Zhejiang government official newspaper. Zhejiang is the home of Hangzhou, the city in which “Alibaba” is located.

“We will meet again once the epidemic is over,” Ma said in the video, explaining to teachers that the traditional personal celebration of the holiday has been canceled due to “Covid-19”.
The video clip released by Tianmu News also shows footage of the Chinese billionaire as he visited an elementary school in Hangzhou earlier this month.
Hong Kong-listed shares of Alibaba rose 6% after the video was released.
