Yesterday (Wednesday), the Ministry of Health launched the electronic program “Asnan” to manage and link dental clinics to the archiving of medical images, and the system of dental laboratories for centers and clinics.
Through this program, the ministry seeks to facilitate access to health services in dental clinics and reduce the wait time for services.
Asnan helps reduce waiting lists for dental clinics, standardize treatment times and link them to a global medical coding system, and covers 905 specialty clinics and more than 2000 primary dental clinics.
It also helps link these clinics to a unified electronic file, allowing rapid access to information and medical consultations between regions and the preparation of reports and statistics.
