Infectious disease consultant Dr Muqbel Al-Hadithi has warned of a doubling of new coronavirus cases emerging in the Kingdom in the coming period, calling for compliance with preventive measures.
Al-Hadithi said in an interview with “Al-Ikhbariya” channel that the Kingdom is currently at a very difficult crossroads in light of the resurgence of cases of infection during the month of January, and their surge. by nearly 200%.
He again attributes the reason for the increase in cases to the neglect of certain preventive measures, especially after the drop in the number of cases and the arrival of vaccines in the Kingdom.
He stressed the importance of reverting to procedures such as muzzle wearing, social distancing and avoiding handshakes, so that everyone avoids a more severe scenario than the procedures.
