King Abdulaziz Medical City’s internist and gastroenterologist in Riyadh, Dr Abdullah Al-Dhiyabi, has revealed that eating burnt food causes cancer.
He pointed out that there are not yet scientific studies available to confirm the link between burnt foods and cancer.
In contrast, Al-Dhiabi warned against excessive consumption of pizza, chocolate and potatoes as it is harmful to health, saying it causes obesity because it contains large calories.
