He married Princess Fawzia’s daughter Nadia while she was studying at American University, but at the time he was unaware that she was the daughter of a princess.

And he knew her at one of the parties, so she ripped out his heart and held onto her.

And after their relationship deepened and he declared his love to her, he knew she was from the royal family (descendant of the Muhammad Ali family), so he was afraid of the reaction of his family, of especially since she had been raised in palaces while living among the Hawari Shubra.

But then he was surprised that she and her family accepted his request, so they got married, and then they had a daughter, whom they named “Sinai”.

The Secret of Sinai

As for the reason for the name, the late explained that the secret lies in the attack on his wife’s family at the time, where he accused its members of not being Egyptian, but rather of Albanian origin. This prompted Youssef Shaaban to call his daughter “Sinai”, which is a very old name indicating ancient roots, considering that Muhammad Ali offered to the country what no one was offering at that time, and it was he who built modern Egypt!
