The Coalition to Support Legitimacy in Yemen announced on Friday the interception and destruction of 6 Houthi marches trapped by madmen launched by the Houthi militia towards Khamis Mushait.

Coalition Forces spokesman Brigadier General Turki Al-Maliki said joint coalition forces were able today to intercept and destroy “trapped” drones launched by the terrorist militia. Houthi supported by Iran deliberately to target civilians towards the town of Khamis Mushait.

He also explained that a total of (6) six drones were intercepted and destroyed today, pointing out that all of these terrorist attempts systematically target civilians and civilian objects and represent war crimes.

He stressed that the coalition forces take and implement the necessary operational measures to protect civilians and civilian objects, in accordance with international humanitarian law and its customary rules.

Target civilians

This happened hours after the militia intercepted and destroyed a ballistic missile launched by the militia towards the Jizan region, attempting to target civilians and civilian objects in a systematic and deliberate manner.

It is worth noting that the number of trapped drones that the coalition announced its interception has reached 537, while the number of missiles intercepted by Saudi defenses has so far reached 350 ballistic missiles.

Tehran-backed militias have attempted to intensify their attacks in recent times, due to the losses they suffer in a number of Yemeni areas against the army, and in conjunction with the push and pull in the relations between the United States and Iran.
