She indicated that participation in the competition will be done by registering for the “My health” application, indicating that walking can be practiced while paying attention to distance and respecting preventive measures, and the challenge of walking on social media platforms will be in the “Live Health Account”.
For its part, the Ministry of Education announced the organization of the walking competition under the slogan “Let the challenge work” for a week, and trained its employees, teachers and teachers in all educational services of the governorates and regions. of the Kingdom to activate and document their participation and that of students and students via the “Madrasati” platform.
Walking helps reduce harmful cholesterol levels in the body, burn extra calories, maintain joint flexibility and muscle strength, in addition to reducing anxiety or depression, improving mood, promote bone health and prevent osteoporosis.
Walking also helps improve balance and blood circulation in the body, maintain a healthy weight, improve fitness, and prevent chronic diseases including heart disease, high blood pressure, and type 2 diabetes. .
