Al-Marsad Journal – Agencies: Oil prices jumped about 3% to their highest level in more than two years, after a stronger than expected US employment report and the OPEC decision and of its allies not to increase the supply in April.

Brent futures rose $ 2.62, or 3.9%, to bring the settlement price to $ 69.39 per barrel. The session high for global benchmark crude was the highest since January 2020.

Goldman Sachs raised its forecast for the price of Brent from five dollars to 75 dollars a barrel in the second quarter and to 80 dollars a barrel in the third quarter of this year, while UBS increased its forecast for Brent to 75 dollars on barrel and for the American West of Texas. Intermediate crude at $ 72 per barrel in the second half of the year, starting in 2021.
