On Sunday evening, the price of Brent oil broke above the $ 70 a barrel level for the first time since January 8, 2020.

According to trading data up to 11:02 pm GMT, the price of Brent oil in future contracts for May rose 1.78%, reaching the level of $ 70.78 per barrel.

The price of “WTI” oil in the April futures contract rose 1.72% to $ 67.41 per barrel.
