Today, Monday, Minister of Health Dr Tawfiq Al-Rabiah launched the National Health Records Platform, which aims to identify patterns of disease incidence in the Kingdom and methods of treatment and their outcomes among health care providers.
The Secretary General of the Saudi Health Council, Dr Nahar Al-Azmi, explained that the national health records platform was dedicated to the most prevalent and highest priority diseases affecting the health system, indicating that it help to come up with health plans and strategies.
He pointed out that the national strategy on health records was developed by the Council, represented by the National Center for Health Information, with the help of a consultancy body with experience in the field of health records.
