The Department of Human Resources and Social Development has confirmed that a worker can submit a transfer notice to another establishment during the validity of the current contract in the event that a job offer is presented to the worker through the Qiwa platform.
This comes with the entry into force of the initiative to improve the contractual relationship of workers in the private sector, from tomorrow.
Human Resources explained that in the event that the employee suspends the contract more than once, the procedure followed consists of approving the last notarized contract, according to colleague “Okaz”.
She indicated that the notice period is 90 days or as agreed between the two parties, explaining that it is mandatory for the establishment to respect the percentage of complete contract documentation, i.e. 100%, and as stipulated in the ministerial decision.
She added that the in-kind pact was not mentioned in the contract, and that the labor courts are the ones who rule on labor cases, and regarding the termination side of the contract, the ministry has revealed that he was referred to the General Administration of Legal Affairs.
