The Indian billionaire surpassed Gautam Adani, the richest person in the world, adding to his fortune amounting to $ 16.2 billion in 2021, to reach 50 billion.

Adani has added billions more to his fortune than anyone else in the world this year.

The net worth of Gautam, a first-generation entrepreneur who rarely speaks publicly, jumped $ 16.2 billion in 2021 to $ 50 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index.

Bloomberg said what Gotham achieved made him the biggest winner of the year, even beating Elon Musk, who fought with Jeff Bezos in 2021 for the title of the richest person in the world.

All but one of the Adani group’s shares have risen by at least 50% this year, according to “Sputnik”.

Adani was also present at the Taj Mahal hotel in Mumbai, India in 2008 when the terrorist attack took place which killed and injured hundreds of people.
