A “mysterious” tweet from Salah’s agent Rami Abbas has again sparked speculation about Al-Masry’s international future with Liverpool.
Abbas’s tweet came after Liverpool met Chelsea in the 29th round of the English Premier League, where Klopp replaced Salah, barely a quarter of an hour into the second half.
Signs of astonishment and anger at Salah, then television cameras overheard him showing his displeasure, on the bench.
Abbas sparked controversy and speculation over Salah’s future with Liverpool when he tweeted as the Egypt international left the stadium, with only one “point”.
According to “Liverpool Echo”, the Liverpool players mocked Salah in the dressing room days after his agent’s tweet, and they also called him jokes, while a number of his colleagues asked him to clarify what is behind the tweet.
Doubts surround Salah’s future with Liverpool, even before the Chelsea game, as he previously refused to rule out the idea of moving to Spain’s two giants Real Madrid or Barcelona in his dialogue with “AS”, adding: “No one knows what might happen in the future.”
It is worth noting that Salah has scored 25 goals this season in 39 games he has played for Liverpool.
